About the Event
BNZ Partners Centre Rotoito Boardroom
Level 1, 1202 Amohau Street, Rotorua
August 16 & 17, 2018
8.30am – 4.30pm
Please note this is a two-day event. Participation at both days is required.
This event explores the SRV framework with regard to people who are marginalised. It looks at how the acquisition of valued roles can contribute to changed societal perceptions and strengthen the likelihood that people with a devalued status will get a better life. The core themes and principles of SRV will be explored through presentations, exercises and discussions.
The workshop is designed for participants who are interested in, or seeking a deeper understanding of, how ‘we’ can meet the real needs of marginalised people and want to learn more about SRV as a framework for this. It is suitable for disabled persons, family members, paid direct staff, teachers, leaders, managers and officials.
Free for disabled people / family members
$135 for paid professionals including IF / EIF staff
