Service Design From the Ground Up

Optimal Individual Service Design

Providing effective and personalised service that meets the needs of the person is complex.   By learning and applying this set of principles and actions, professionals will dramatically increase the likelihood their service will meet people’s needs and support them to achieve good life outcomes.

This is the most detailed and thorough event on service design available. It is a two-week intensive leadership level event taught by Dr. Michael Kendrick and associates.

It teaches participants how to create a coherent and functional service for and with an individual. It takes a blank page approach and then walks through service design theory and practice. Participants work in groups of three or four around a focus person (an individual with impairment and or their family/whānau) to create a good life and articulate in detail the steps, approaches, strategies, personnel and resourcing that will be required to create the life.
