Tony McLean

National Training Manager

Tony has been involved in the disability sector for over 27 years in roles including direct support, employment, operational management, governance, service development, evaluation, consultancy and training. Over the past decade he has been involved with supporting disabled people, their family whānau, allies and people in professional roles, to explore what a good life could look like and then set about building it. He is passionate about people creating and sustaining lives that fit them well, bring meaning and purpose, and create community. Tony studied Human Services through Auckland University (BSocSc). He is also involved in, and passionate about, International Development and its intersection with disability and poverty and is the current Deputy Chair of cbm nz.
