Kia ora, my name is Karley.

I am passionate about wellbeing promotion for people with access needs and working alongside people to achieve their goals in order to live their best life.

I have successfully completed a degree in Social Services specialising in Disability Support,  served on the Youth Committee board for Retina New Zealand. Most recently, I graduated from the Be Leadership programme run by Be Lab.

Alongside my professional background, I have lived experience with an access need and had amazing opportunities to connect with others in my community. My dream is to work on social issues that hinder us from full inclusion and promote positive change in my world and those around me. I’m currently involved in leading the Free Fares to Freedom campaign. We are calling for the reinstatement of free taxi travel for Kiwis with mobility access needs that make public transport not a viable option.
