Prerequisite

This 2-day workshop is a prerequisite and therefore qualifies participants to take part in our more advanced service design events such as PASSING.

Purpose

This two-day workshop is for people wanting to gain a high level of understanding of the true nature of quality in the support of disabled people, people with mental illness and older people in our communities. Read more in our course overview

Trainers

John Armstrong, one of three Senior SRV Trainers currently in Australasia, will lead this event. John has been involved in SRV training since 1983 for large government organisations, voluntary associations, tertiary institutions and parent and advocacy groups in Australia and New Zealand.

John will be assisted in this event by a number of other presenters from the fields of ageing, mental health and intellectual disability.

Cost

  • Early Registration (up to two weeks prior to workshop date) $525.00+gst
  • Group Registration (three or more people from one organisation to either workshop) $500.00+gst
  • Standard Registration $575.00+gst

Standards Plus is planning to host this high level and intensive training programme to support the development of quality in the design and delivery of individualised, person centred services to people with disabilities and their families.
